Save an average of 30%
By using HSA or FSA funds to purchase your new mattress, you are spending pre-tax dollars. This means that reimbursements from these accounts are tax-free.
Use your funds before they expire
When you sign up for an FSA, the IRS mandates that all contributions be used by a specific annual deadline. If not, the remaining funds may be lost.
Designed for how you sleep
Your new Helix mattress is tailored to your unique sleep preferences and backed by real sleep science to help you enjoy deeper, more restorative sleep.
How It Works
We've partnered with Truemed, enabling you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to get up to 30% off your new Helix mattress. See a video demonstration below or read step-by-step instructions.
Step 1
Add To Cart
Add your Helix mattress to your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout process.
Step 2
Select "Pay with HSA/FSA"
During the checkout process, enter your email address, shipping information, and phone number. Double check that the items in your order and your personal information are correct.
Underneath Payment select "Truemed- Pay with HSA/FSA" as your payment method. Pay with HSA/FSA will be listed at the bottom of the payment options on the checkout page.
Step 3
Click "Pay Now" and take a Quick Survey
Once you click "Pay Now" on the checkout page, you will be directed to the Truemed dashboard for a quick online health survey to determine your eligibility.
The survey will ask a few quick questions about your medical history in order to generate your Letter of Medical Necessity. Eligibility is typically determined within 24 - 48 hours but you will be able to complete your purchase immediately.
Step 4
Complete Your Payment
Once you have completed the medical survey, you will proceed to a checkout page where you can choose to pay in full using your personal credit card or pay using your HSA or FSA card.
If you pay using your credit card, you will receive information via email for how to submit your purchase and Letter of Medical Necessity for HSA/FSA reimbursement through Truemed.
Please note: Some items, including mattresses, are only partially eligible for HSA/FSA funds. If your product is partially eligible, you can split your payment between your credit card and HSA/FSA card.

Frequently Asked Questions
Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are tax-free accounts that can be used to pay for qualified health expenses. These accounts are usually set up and managed by an HSA or FSA administrator, and you should have access to said HSA/FSA administrator through your employer (ask your HR department!).
HSAs are typically associated with a high-deductible health plan, and funds do not expire. FSAs are independent of your health plan, and funds elections occur in October-November each year for the following calendar year. FSA funds expire every calendar year.
Unfortunately, HSAs and FSAs are not available outside of the US, and self-employed individuals (who do not have an HSA from a previous employment) do not qualify for HSAs or FSAs.
Truemed partners with merchants and brands to enable qualified customers to use HSA/FSA funds on qualified products and services that are used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition. Truemed partners with a network of individual practitioners who evaluate customers’ eligibility and issue Letters of Medical Necessity to qualifying customers, thereby saving customers money on legitimate medical expenditures.
HSA/FSA accounts were created so individuals could use pre-tax money to pay for expenses used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition. Because HSA/FSAs use pre-tax money, you’re getting more purchasing power for your dollars. Rather than pay taxes on income and then spend it on health items, qualified customers can use pre-tax funds to invest in their health.
In order to determine whether certain products or services are legitimate expenses for treating, mitigating, or preventing a diagnosed medical condition, HSA/FSA plan administrators often require a letter from a licensed practitioner. This letter is called a “Letter of Medical Necessity.”
Unfortunately, Truemed is currently only available in the United States.
Generally it takes 24-48 hours. If you aren't seeing your letter in your inbox, check spam, then reach out to us at support@truemed.com for help!
If you do not qualify, you are able to reapply for HSA/FSA spending at a later date.
Yes, you will have the option during checkout to split payment between your HSA/FSA account and your credit or debit card. You will be given the option to enter a custom amount for each payment method.
Please contact us at team@truemed.com so we can help you troubleshoot the issue. HSA/FSA plan administrators often have detailed requirements, so it may be as simple as re-issuing your Letter of Medical Necessity using the administrator's form.
Yes! All Helix mattresses, regardless of payment method, will come with a 120 night sleep trial, which begins on the day of delivery. If you complete your purchase using HSA/FSA dollars and decide to return your mattress, your refund will be issued directly back to your HSA/FSA account.
