We recommend that you start by removing some foam from your ComfortAdjust Cooling Pillow: we’ll send it to you intentionally overstuffed, so you should take some out. The amount will depend on your body type and how you like to sleep, so lay on it periodically to make sure it’s the correct height for your body when you’re laying in your typical sleep position. For example, if you sleep on your side, your head should be parallel to the mattress, not tilted up or down, with the space between your shoulder and your head filled up. Take out more if you sleep on your back, so your head doesn’t tilt forward. Continue taking some out if you sleep on your stomach. Next, try unzipping one or both of the side zippers: these control the firmness, with both sides unzipped the softest option, one side zipped medium, and both zipped the most firm. We recommend keeping your fill handy to fine-tune it after you sleep on it a few nights, because most people like to readjust after they actually feel it while they sleep.
