Step 1: Start with your sleep position
We intentionally overfill your pillow with extra stuffing so you can remove it. Measure based on how you sleep most often.
Side sleeper? You need more height to keep your spine aligned. Fill the space between your shoulder and head.
Back Sleeper? Medium height keeps your head from tilting forward.
Stomach sleeper? Low height prevents neck strain.
Step 2: Adjust your firmness
Soft: Unzip both zippers.
Medium: Unzip one zipper, and leave one zipped.
Firm: Keep both zippers zipped up.
Step 3: Fine-tune it
Sleep on it, and add or remove fill until your head feels perfectly supported. Keep your extra fill handy: most people adjust 2-3 times before landing on their ideal setting.

What is shredded memory foam?
Shredded memory foam pillows contain tiny, shredded up pieces of memory foam filling. This provides more airflow and makes the pillow more breathable than traditional memory foam pillows, which are more dense, and lack room for air to circulate. Our shredded foam doesn’t clump, bunch, or go flat like down or down alternative can.
Is shredded memory foam good for back and neck pain?
If you suffer from back and neck pain, the most important aspect of your pillow is ensuring your pillow matches your sleep position. You can adjust this pillow to be higher or lower depending on how you sleep to achieve proper spinal alignment and support back and neck pain.
What are the correct adjustments I should make for my pillow?
We recommend that you start by removing some foam from your ComfortAdjust Cooling Pillow: we’ll send it to you intentionally overstuffed, so you should take some out. The amount will depend on your body type and how you like to sleep, so lay on it periodically to make sure it’s the correct height for your body when you’re laying in your typical sleep position. For example, if you sleep on your side, your head should be parallel to the mattress, not tilted up or down, with the space between your shoulder and your head filled up. Take out more if you sleep on your back, so your head doesn’t tilt forward. Continue taking some out if you sleep on your stomach. Next, try unzipping one or both of the side zippers: these control the firmness, with both sides unzipped the softest option, one side zipped medium, and both zipped the most firm. We recommend keeping your fill handy to fine-tune it after you sleep on it a few nights, because most people like to readjust after they actually feel it while they sleep.
