Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Every Helix mattress ships for free (in a box!) in the contiguous USA.* All Helix products are made to order, and are assembled and shipped from our Arizona factory within several days, depending on the specific product. How does your 120 day free trial work?

You have 120 nights to sleep on your mattress: if you are not completely satisfied for any reason, we’ll organize a seamless exchange for a mattress of greater or equal value, or facilitate a free, fast return. We do ask that you take a minimum of 30 days to adjust to your mattress and break it in. Learn More

What if I want to return my mattress?

We get it: every person is unique with their own different sleep preferences, and you need to see how it feels. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your mattress, we will do everything we can to make it right. Go ahead and sleep on your mattress: you have 120 nights to try it out. What makes a child’s mattress different from a crib mattress?

As your child outgrows their crib mattress, they’ll need a bit more space. The Helix Kids Mattress offers Twin and Full size mattresses that provide the perfect transition from a crib mattress for young children. Unlike a crib mattress, which is often made to be very firm, the Helix Kids Mattress also is designed with two distinct sides that provide optimal comfort and support for children’s growing bodies. 

Is this child’s mattress actually comfortable?

Absolutely - the Helix Kids Mattress is kid tested and approved! Our softer side of the mattress is made with high-density memory foam that provides excellent contouring and comfort. Our firm side of the mattress is made with high-density Helix Responsive Foam for optimal support and cushioning. The Helix Kids Mattress is made to be great for both side sleepers who like a soft mattress and children who might prefer a firm mattress.

Does the Helix Kids Mattress have any safety certifications?

The Helix Kids Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold certified and made with CertiPUR-US® certified foams, ensuring our foam layers are constructed without the use of harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, or formaldehyde.

The Helix Kids Mattress is also Lead and Phthalate tested, flammability tested, and includes a cutting-edge AEGIS® Microbe Shield treatment that offers optimal freshness and hygiene for the life of this Helix mattress. Learn more.

Why are there two sides to the Helix Kids Mattress?

The Helix Kids Mattress is designed to provide the perfect support and safety for your child as they grow and their sleep preferences change.

One side features a firmer feel that provides more spinal support to aid proper development for younger kids in the estimated age range of 2-7. If it feels a bit too firm for your child, just flip it over and they can enjoy a bit more plush comfort and pressure relief which we suggest for kids in the estimated age range of 8 & up. Learn more.

Unboxing Your Helix Kids Mattress

UNPACK
Your Helix Kids Mattress will be delivered in a sturdy box and wrapped in two layers of airtight plastic. 

To get started, bring your boxed Helix Kids Mattress into the bedroom and open one end of the box. Lay the box on its side and remove the rolled up mattress, placing it directly on your child's sleep surface. Set aside the empty box to be recycled later.

UNCOVER
To remove the outer layer of airtight plastic, pull on the tab and begin removing the entire outer layer. You are welcome to carefully use scissors to cut away the outer layer of plastic if necessary. Your mattress may begin to unroll or unfold on your child's sleep surface. 

Once the outer layer of plastic has been fully removed, please set it aside. It can be recycled with soft plastics if that service is available in your area.

UNFOLD & UNWRAP
With the outer layer of plastic removed, fully unfold your child's mattress so it sits flat on your child's sleep surface, with only one layer of airtight plastic remaining. 

Carefully cut the inner layer of recyclable plastic (avoid cutting the mattress) and remove it. As you cut into the inner layer of plastic, the mattress will begin to rapidly expand.

EXPAND, ARRANGE, & ENJOY
Flip the mattress so the age range that appears right side up (on top) is appropriate. 

Please give the mattress 1-2 hours to expand. Once fully expanded, your Helix Kids Mattress will measure approximately 8 inches tall. Then it's time to kick back and relax. Sweet dreams!
