Nope! The Helix Plus is a hybrid mattress and is made to maximize airflow through the body of the mattress and help hot sleepers enjoy more comfort. To provide sleepers with an optimal sleeping temperature all night long, the Helix Plus includes two cover options: our Breathe Knit fabric or the cutting-edge GlacioTex™ Cooling Cover. We recommend using flat, thick slats beneath your mattress and requires any support system you use to have no more than 5 inches of space between each support slat. The Helix Foundation can be used with any standard metal bed frame and is the perfect option for anyone looking to replace their box spring. Learn more.

Unboxing Your Helix

Unpack

Open the lid and place the box on its side. Pull to unpack.

Unroll

Once out of the box, pull on the plastic tab to unroll your mattress from the rest of the packaging.

Unwrap

Place on your sleeping surface and using scissors, cut carefully to unwrap the final layer of plastic.

Unwind

It will need approximately 2 hours to unwind and fully expand. And then, it’ll be your turn.
